Looking Back - Site Archives
3 from 1997

Since 1997, we've developed over 200 websites for a variety of industries and non-profit organizations. Our team brings both formal design training and a wealth of experience to each project, creating sites that are attractive, functional, and rank well in search engines. We're "right-sized" - big enough to provide quality work and skills, yet small enough to give personalized serivce and affordable pricing.
In addition to standard websites and e-commerce, we have integrated legacy applications to the web for customer care, time billing, purchase order tracking, document management, and human resource feedback surveys.
Whether you're looking for a brand new website, a "facelift" for your existing web presence, or added functionality/visibility - we can help.
Michael Hamrich, Chief Information Officer
In Inside Business Magazine's "Best of Business Issue 1999"
Mike was recognized as "Best Computer Geek", partially for his efforts
in the development of automated Data Entry systems and his effective out of
the box thinking process.
Always excited by the applications for technology, he used his paper route money to buy his first computer - a Commodore Pet, in 1978 - and has worked the last 18 years in networking and communications.
His former start up company DrFast.Net, Inc. was the first company to offer high speed DSL connectivity in North East Ohio. In 2000 his peers nominated him to represent them in a lobbying effort to Washington DC. He’s served as a consultant to several government agencies and businesses, and it has been reported that he caused Cisco CEO John Chambers to laugh hysterically during a 5 on 1 meeting with the nations top regional Internet Service Providers
Laurel Mitro, Lead Web Developer
As a former manager for Jennifer Convertibles of New York, Laurel brings plenty of
people management skills to the table on top of her artistic design abilities. With clients
ranging from home time favorites like Lolly the Trolley and Medina Glass Block to
contract work for BP Amoco and National City bank, she has proven her ability to thrive
in any sized project or client relationship.
One of our favorite things about web design is getting to know your business inside and out. First, we discuss your company, what makes your products or services better than the rest, and what you're passionate about in your industry. Then we go over what existing branding and marketing is in place (if any) and what content assets you have - such as catalogs and brochures, digital photos, video, and presentations.
Finally, we show you some work we've done to get an idea what graphic look and feel appeals to you. From there, we're ready to develop graphic prototypes for your review. Because every company is unique, we typically develop custom designs during the prototyping process. If you're on a budget, ask us about customizing web templates.
Once you've chosen a prototype, we present a detailed timeline for the site development, and begin the production work. A convenient online project manager keeps you informed and makes sure we keep on track. After you've checked over the completed web site, it goes live and we complete the search engine optimization.
Depending on the amount of content and what special features or custom programming is involved, a web site can take anywhere from a week to 3 or 4 months to complete.
